I finally had to 'bite the bullet' and invest in a new PC to replace my rather tired laptop before it expired. This has proved a time consuming and somewhat frustrating excersise depite being planned rather than imposed by a system failure (my god I hope that never happens). The upside, now the dust has settled, is a machine that can cope with the demands of CS3 which is just marvellous. I am now able to easily and quickly convert RAW files and this has been a revelation to me and offers so much more flexability than my previous workflow.  Adobe Bridge is a superb file viewer and CS3 is proving a formidable processor, and I particularly love
